It was good to see some returning waders on the realignment area and these included 34 Redshanks, 2 Greenshanks, one Green Sandpiper, one Golden Plover, 7 Grey Plovers, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 7 Lapwings, 59 Curlews and 7 Whimbrels. A 2nd cy Mediterranean Gull was also present and 35 Swifts headed NW.
