Post subject:  Some nice birds

Took the trip to Frampton this afternoon on a miserable day but was compensated by some nice birds
Highlights were
black-necked grebe 2
little gull 1
black tern 1
white wagtail 1
common swift c100
whooper swan 1
pintail 1 male
avocet c60
black-tailed godwit 18
curlew 1
curlew sandpiper 1 (from bottom car-park with the dunlin)
dunlin c38
greenshank 1
lapwing c100
oystercatcher 6
redshank
ringed plover
ruff (many colours)
turnstone 3
common tern 1
mute swan 22
sedge warbler c13
mistle thrush 1
mediterranean gull 1
little grebe
gadwall
shoveler
mallard

collared dove 2 (but no Turtle dove)
