Ca. 40 Common Whitethroats, mostly singing males, were counted at the south end. Three Garden Warblers were singing, but all the other warbler species were in lower numbers. Other birds of note were 133 Sanderling, 7 Whimbrel, 2 Corn Buntings and singles of Ring Ouzel, Tree Pipit, Yellow Wagtail and Cuckoo. A Long-tailed Tit in the dunes might be nesting in the nearby coastguard cottage gardens.
