59 species recorded on the patch today, all BirdTracked. Highlights were:- 1 Dunlin, flew around the mere twice before departing, 1st patch record since 2011. 6 Sand Martins at the mere for about 20 minutes. 1 singing Blackcap. 2 Grey Partridges. All 3 woodpeckers. c150 Fieldfares feeding on ploughed field. |
