A flock of circa 20 Chaffinches passed through the wood during an hour-long visit today. Usual passerines present and in very good voice - Dunnock, Robin, Goldfinch, Blue Tit, Blackbird, Great Tit and Wren heard. Magpie in adjoining field. As me and my parents were on the way home, we saw a Common Buzzard scare the local Woodpigeons off the conifers at the nearby farm. |
