Really pleasant on Cleethorpes Country Park this morning only spoilt by having to avoid parkway runners. Highlight was a single Bearded Reedling that was heard in reeds but then flew over my head and disappeared.

Other highlights were

Chiffchaff 2
Tufted 5m 3f
Teal 1m 2f
Jackdaw 1 (far from regular on patch)
G C Grebe 4
Curlew 22
Reed Bunting 4m 1f
Sparrowhawk 1m
Kestrel 1m
Kingfisher 1

Cheers
James

Forgive my ignorance but was a Bearded Reedling? It is not a Bearded Tit I take it.

Aidan,
Bearded Tit and Bearded Reedling are one and the same - Panurus biarmicus.

Thanks Ray (and Stuart). Apologies Aidan, Bearded Tit has been Reedling for a long time but most don't use it.

Meadow Pipit 1
Small Tortoiseshell 2

26/03
Little Egret 6 (my patch record)

Cheers
James
