Popped down last night and thought I'd seen it in the gloom with another 4 Little Egrets. To confirm I popped in at lunchtime and fleetingly saw the Cattle Egret alongside a Little Egret. Extremely distant views across the horse paddocks viewed from the public footpath just off Sand Pit Lane. |

Cattle Egret still present today in the sunshine (1pm). Still distant in the horse paddocks viewed from the public footpath just off Sand Pit Lane. |
