| Post subject: | Grey Heron carrying food. |
In the last two days I have twice seen a Grey Heron flying over the patch, towards Hartsholme park where they nest, carrying food in its bill. Today the food item was either a frog or a toad. I have never seen this behaviour before. I always thought they swallowed the food and then regurgitated it for the young? |
