Post subject:  days birding in lincs

started at willow tree fen, great views of the bluethroat, i knew it was getting close when i couldn't focus my bins on it, about 4ft from my shoe, i never moved it just hopped up to me, :D :D
then on to deeping lakes, while in transit had 2 great white egrets on the welland approx 2 miles from the lakes towards crowland, about 1 mile from the bridge inn hic also long tailed duck on the river, :D :D
at the lake,

long eared owl
2 chiff chaff
cettis warb
green woodpecker
great spot drumming
scaup
4 goosander
10 whoopers in a field about 5 miles away
terry whalin :D :D
