I saw this bird at Messingham Sand Quarry this morning. I thought it was a chiffchaff, but as an inexperienced birder isn't it a bit early in the year for them?

Hi Mark, Unfortunately the link only takes you to the Photobox web site.There was one Chiffchaff at MSQ today,not far from the open heathy area where the outflow pipe runs into the dyke.Lots of birds arriving around the country with Wheatear and Sand Martins arriving also. Regards, Steve. |
