I was extremely pleased to see a Willow Tit at my feeding station (costing me a fortune but worth it) at the mere this morning. Was once a regular breeder but now very scarce with only 2 records last year. The bird was not heard to call. Also the first Oystercatcher of the year flew around the mere calling but did not land. |
