Baumber Park 6th March

My wife reported a flock of 18 Waxwings visiting the farmhouse garden for 10mins this morning. But after sampling a few ornamental rose hips they moved on before I had a chance to see them!

Yesterday Sunday 5th I had good views of a Peregrine perched in a roadside ash tree at Shearmans Wath, Thimbleby. Earlier in the day Russ Telfer reported 2 Red Kites drifting south at the same venue.
