Cold, clear, crisp morning on patch:- 2 juvenile Marsh Harriers at mere, earliest record for patch. 1 Snipe got up from winter wheat field. Pair of Stonechats still on bank of main drain. 1 Treecreeper feeding on fatballs. Mere 80% frozen, 33 Teal, 9 Shoveler, 4 Gadwall, 5 Pochard, 6 Tufted Duck & 1 Goosander. |
