I was disappointed on arriving at Manby Flashes today to see that there were only two gulls on the water but my mood improved when I saw that they were both:
Iceland Gulls
Also there was a Water Rail

At Elm House Farm, Saltfleetby were:
3 Short-eared Owls and
1 Merlin

Amongst c 1000 gulls on Theddlethorpe foreshore was a 2 cy Glaucous gull 0820 hrs 16 01 17.
a brief view of 2 duck on the sea looked very much like Scaup, also 7 Red Throat Divers

1 1st winter Iceland Gull seen at Manby, in the fog, this morning
also 1 Black-tailed Godwit & 1 Pink-footed Goose which appears to be injured
