Shore Larks had increased to 9 on the beach at the south end. Six Whooper Swans were new on the fields and 120 Pink-footed Geese passed to the south. Once again, fleeting long-distance views were all I could obtain of the evasive Redstart. It was driven off and chased by Robins, but its manner of diving into cover was hardly suggestive of "ochruros".
