While we expect to see adult waders returning from their breeding grounds on the reserve, what I didn't expect to see on Tuesday was the first juvenile Dunlin of the year. Do we have early return dates for these in the county? This would have been a UK schinzii which is hopefully a sign of a good breeding season. Juvenile limosa Black-tailed Godwits up next
