Post subject:  Donna Nook, 25th October.

A seawatch 0850-1030 saw northerly passage of 4 Gannets, one Cormorant and 2 Red-throated Divers. To the south were 200 Herring Gulls, 10 Cormorants, one Great Skua, 2 auks and 6 Whooper Swans. As I walked back to the dunes at 1030, a party of 12 Goosanders flew north over the mudflats and these must be the same birds recorded by GW at Saltfleet Haven. The best birds on the dunes were singles of Great Spotted Woodpecker, Kingfisher, Stonechat and Grey Wagtail.
