12pm - 3.30pm

4 Common Buzzard
5 Red Kite
4 Kestrels
1 female Merlin
1 female Sparrowhawk
1 Green Woodpecker
Several small flocks of Goldfinches.
4 Reed Buntings
Small flock of Linnet with 4 Siskins mixed in.
Pair of Stonechat in the road hedge at Hawthorpe, same area as last winter.

Lots of Greylag and Canada over when I was there on Friday (no idea where they came from or were going to) but not a single owl of any sort while I was there until dusk

heard , but not seen, what sounded like a huge number of geese south of Bulby today, so could assume they are feeding on something nearby?
I didn't investigate further.
