An evening walk along Fen Lane to the edge of Nocton Wood and back provided a couple of spring firsts. Yellow Wagtail - 1 in a newly rolled field with 10 Pied Wagtails Swallow - 2 around horse paddocks 3 Chiffchaffs were the only other birds of note although Peacock and Small Tortoiseshell were out in force.
