A juvenile Green Woodpecker at the south end was the first record for the year. Generally, a quiet morning with 5 Willow Warblers, 2 Wheatears, Corn Bunting, 26 Redshanks, Greenshank, 2 Green Sandpipers, Wood Sandpiper, Ruff, 2 Whimbrels and 350 Golden Plovers. At sea, only singles of Eider, Gannet and Arctic Skua seen heading south. |
