A new personal record achieved today, a total of 105 species recorded from 0500-2100hrs, a bit of a fall of migrants was evident today, with some very surprising discoveries! The species are as follows;

WHITE RUMPED SANDPIPER at Greenshanks Creek this evening at high tide, seen well in flight and briefly on he deck, in very good light

Also a possible 'Pectoral Sandpiper' south offshore with a single Knot, Dunlin sized wader, with distinct superilium and strong breast streaking, not included in final.

I remember seeing a marsh tit about twenty years ago between the shore bird warden"s hut and the ringing hut. It was a most unexpected surprise. Again it was its song that alerted me to it

Marsh Tit still present this evening (13th) in the orchard/Plantation, bird heard calling a few times

Also, a first-winter Yellow-legged Gull on Tennyson Sands this morning
