A short evening visit made to Stonebridge from high tide (1900) to dusk. Terns flying into the river to roost were 273 Commons, 10 Arctics, 40 Sandwich and a single adult Black Tern. Other birds of note included 4 Mediterranean Gulls, a sub-adult Yellow-legged Gull, 16 Whimbrels, 3 Avocets, 4 Ruffs and an Osprey. |
