A flock of 31 flying west over Market Rasen Golf Course at 1005 today is the largest I've ever seen. Nuthatch still on the course as well.

Hi Stuart
on JUne 16th I had a flock of 43 in a sugar beet field in the Ancholme Valley and on July 12th in a totally different area in the north west of the county a flock of 48 -- I am sure that some of the reported flocks of Fieldfares in August are in fact Mistle Thrushes and people do not appreciate that these post breeding gatherings occur annually
