Corresponding with Steve Routledge's record at Rimac, there was a reeling Grasshopper Warbler at the south end of Donna Nook this morning. It was my first record since early May, and although it was less persistent than a spring bird, it was still delivering sporadic bursts lasting 5-8 seconds. Also of note were 15 Sandwich Terns, 2 Common Buzzards, a juvenile Marsh Harrier, 6 Green Sandpipers and a Wood Sandpiper. |
