A nice selection of waders on the reserve today. Highlights: Single Greenshank, 10 Knot, single Dunlin, 2 Wood Sand, 2 Common Sand, 4 Spotted Redshank, 20 Snipe, 3 Whimbrel, 20 Ruff, LRP family party, 1,000 plus Black-tailed Godwit and 50 plus Redshank. Also found 2 Spoonbill and 6 Brent Geese but no sign of the reported Lesser Yellowlegs or Glossy Ibis. Cheers, David Cohen |
