Warbler numbers seemed to be settling down now, but there weren't many migrants evident in the misty conditions. Only 2 Wheatears seen today, plus 4 Yellow Wagtails, one Cuckoo and a Short-eared Owl. A large dark pipit was flushed from a field of long grass, and although it looked like a Richard's, it was untypically silent and flew south and out of sight.
