Visible Migration was evident from mid-morning as the fog cleared, all 3 'common' hirundines recorded today

Sand Martin 5 S
House Martin 1 S
Linnet 124 S
White Wagtail 1 S
'alba' Wagtail 4 S
Rook 6 S
Chaffinch 11 S
Greenfinch 10 S
Meadow Pipit 15 S

On the reserve (additional counts to the above):

Skylark 64
Wren 37 singing males
Dunnock 31 singing males
Yellowhammer 11 (6 singing males)
Short-eared Owl 1
Tawny Owl 1
Corn Bunting 1
Redwing 4
Mistle Thrush 7
Green Woodpecker 2ads together at the north end of the reserve
Peregrine 1 'big' adult female
Avocet 25
Golden Plover 20
Chiffchaff 6 singing males
Common Scoter 42 'offshore'

Looking good again for Vis Mig tomorrow, an Alpine Swift would do just nicely!
