Gary Fenwick found the following early this morning (in the gloom!) 3 summer-plumage Black-necked Grebes 2 Brent Geese +possible Red-necked Grebe (which looked to have flown off before 8.00am, when I arrived Also a Swallow flew through. The grebes were grouped together and very confiding, allowing close approach (photos to post later). Thanks for the call Gary. Richard. |
