Teal 15 Grey Partridge 2 Cormorant at least 6 up and down the river Grey Heron 1 Little Egret 2 Buzzard 2 pairs Lapwing displaying Oystercatcher another 2 along the river Little Owl 1 Skylarks 3 singing Song Thrush 2 singing Goldcrest 2 singing Nuthatch 1 Siskin 2 1st winter on the feeder (first for many years) and another same age along the river Yellowhammer 2 singing As others noted, it felt like spring. 53 species in all which is as many as I recorded in all January.
