A very quiet hour in the 360 Hide this evening (1715-1815). Wader numbers were low, but there still proved to be both a Little Stint and a Curlew Sandpiper hanging around:-

Little Stint x 1
Curlew Sandpiper x 1
Jack Snipe x 1
Snipe x 4
Dunlin x 4
Golden Plover x 6
Avocet x 9
Ruff x 13
Black-tailed Godwit x c50

The real spectacle is coming from the wildfowl at the minute though, namely the swathes of Teal and Wigeon on the reserve - peppered liberally with some very handsome Pintail and Gadwall, in particular, to boot.

With the clocks going back this weekend, I've just taken my last after-work visit to Frampton of 2013. Boo and, indeed, hiss.

However, the reserve continued it's healthy run of late passage waders with a Pectoral Sandpiper on middle scrape this evening. Yay. :D
