There was no sign of yesterday's Isabelline Shrike. The patch of bushes where it showed well was occupied by just a few thrushes and Reed Buntings. Still a few migrants around with a Firecrest at Pye's Hall, occasional Goldcrests and 5 Bramblings. 8 Whooper Swans and 4 Swallows flew SW inland. At the NW corner of the realignment area, PE and AS recorded 34 Shovelers, 2 Pintail, 4 Greenshanks, 3 Ruffs and a Marsh Harrier.
