Some birds had moved on, but a few new arrivals were apparent at the south end. The recent high levels of Chiffchaffs, Goldcrests and Robins were reduced to a trickle, yet both Blackbirds and Redwings showed small increases. Obvious new birds were 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Yellow-browed Warbler, Firecrest, Wheatear and Ring Ouzel. Light visible movement to the south included 7 Swallows. |
