About an hour at lunchtime produced the following (although with so much vegetation I suspect some of these totals are rather conservative):

Wigeon - 143
Teal - 41
Gadwall - 11
Mallard - 7
Shelduck - 3
Greylag - 3
Mute Swan - 2
Lapwing - 197
Snipe - 2
Black-headed Gull - 65
Common Gull - 6
Sparrowhawk - 1 fem
Buzzard - 1 circling high to the south
Skylark - 4 (some in full voice)
