Post subject:  Waxwings - Bourne

35 waxwings this morning along South Road by Elsea Park. Birds often at the top of the tall lime tree by the ambulance station and then flying across the road to feed on berries in the hedge besides the Elsea Park estate. In other words, exactly the same place that they were almost exactly 2 years ago. Lots of berry bearing shrubs around Elsea Park so may well hang around

Thanks to Ian McGlynn for tipping me off about these - he had 23 on the 21st
