Hi,

a quick march around the reedbed, scrapes and wet grassland at Frampton Marsh this morning produced:

Mute swan 9
Brent goose 860
Greylag goose 36
Mallard 137
Shoveler 26
Gadwall 67
Pintail 21
Wigeon 123
Teal 666
Tufted duck 26
Pochard 5
Goldeneye 3
Lapwing 1130
Golden plover 3000+
Redshank 1
Hen harrier 1 (m)
Peregrine 2 (m&f)

an even quicker march around the wetland at Freiston produced:

Whooper swan 1 (over)
Brent goose 350+
Mallard 142
Shoveler 16
Wigeon 1100+
Teal 284
Merlin 1f
Eider 2 m&f (Cut End)
Scaup 5 2m 3f (Cut End)
Goldeneye 3 1m 2f (reservoir)
Oystercatcher 1500 (Cut End)
Black-tailed godwit 950+
Bar-tailed godwit 23 (Cut End)
Redshank 36
Curlew 180+
Lapwing 3100 (1000 on wetland 2100 on mudflats at Cut End)
Golden plover 4650+

Nice to see more than 4000 lapwing, and over 7000 golden plover across both sites.
