Now 30 waxwings in the hedge behind Marsh Farm reservoir. You can walk there from the Visitor Centre car park.

From the car park entrance facing the visitor centre turn left, walk 100m until you see a pedestrian gate on your left, go through the gate and walk along the hedgerow path until you reach a single track road (after about 500m), turn left at the road, walk for 300m until you get to another gate, go through the gate and the birds are in the hedge around here (the reservoir is on your left). The birds with the crests are waxwings!

AARG - Waxwing Fail! Flew off before I got there! Checked nearby bushes with berries on but no luck.
