Whilst ringing at dusk, a skein of 60-70 Pinkfeet flew south. About 30 Redwings and an equal number of Blackbirds came into roost and 2 Tawny Owls were calling against each other. The corvid roost provides quite a spectacle as well in excess of a thousand Rooks and Jackdaws converge from the surrounding area. Other birds seen were Goldcrest (11), Treecreeper (2) Long-tailed Tits (13) and Bullfinch (4). A Willow Tit was the highlight of the day.
