1450 hrs, Friday 16th. 7 Waxwings still in the tree at the car park entrance to STW (Marston). Shadowed by one Fieldfare which clearly has aspirations of becoming an honorary waxwing! Also Water rail, Grey Wag, Shoveler, Teal, Wigeon - didn't see any Redpoll though.

5 Waxwings still present in tall tree near car park at 8.45am, coming down to opposite hawthorn hedge for berries and giving much better views in poor light, and sometimes moving into ash tree in Barkston direction. Also 3 Redpolls and a Grey Wagtail.
Oliver.
