All quiet at Donna Nook this morning (until the F15s flew over). A male blackcap was the only bird of note.

Also rather quiet at the south end. A few thrushes were coming in from the sea and continuing SW inland after short stays on the dunes, totals being 95 Blackbirds, 4 Song Thrushes and 16 Fieldfares. Additional birds included Great Spotted Woodpecker, 8 Goldcrests, 2 Chiffchaffs, 4 Long-tailed Tits, Brambling, Woodcock, Sparrowhawk, Peregrine, Common Buzzard, 10 Pink-footed Geese and 15 Whooper Swans.
