Post subject:  Mablethorpe sea watch 27/10.

Did a sea watch from 09:00 to 12:15, wind was force 5 to 6, N at first veering to NE, heavy rain showers, gave up due to sand being blown into our faces:-
Brent Geese 2 N
Mallard 4 N
Pintail 5 females N
Wigeon 7 N
Teal c20 N
Tufted Duck 1 S
Common Scoter c250 on sea
Red-breasted Merganser 1 female S
Red-throated Diver 1 S & 1 N
Gannet c150, mainly S
Grey Plover 1 N
Dunlin & Sanderling, small numbers N
Bar-tailed Godwit 11 N
Great Skua 8 S
Arctic Skua 6 S
Kittiwake c450 S
Little Auk, 9 N
Skylarks and Starlings, small numbers in off

I was at Mablethorpe North End 0920-1020hrs but left then because quiet:

Bonxie 7>S
Red-breasted merganser 7>S
Common scoter c60 on sea
Sanderling 65

rest similar but obviously less numbers than Andy's
