A few more birds apparent at the south end this morning mainly attributable to the lighter wind. 410 Pinkfeet in six skeins flew south and another skein was heard, but not seen. The best birds on the landward side were 3 Kestrels, 2 Sparrowhawks, Merlin, Marsh Harrier, 2 Common Buzzards, 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Jay, Water Rail, 9 Grey Partridges, 3 Robins, 3 Song Thrushes, 2 Common Redstarts, 6 Chiffchaffs, 8 Goldcrests, 6 Long-tailed Tits, Rock Pipit, Lapland Bunting, 4 Lesser Redpolls, 160 Goldfinches and 250 Skylarks. 19 Gannets, 19 Cormorants, 3 Sandwich Terns and a Red-throated Diver were seen at sea and a Mediterranean Gull was on the shore.
