This morning's high tide, 20th, was wet and miserable when compared to yesterday.
Just as the waders were gathering together at the peak of the tide, a peregrine flew the length of the shore and scattered everything. However, birds seen:

Pectoral sandpiper, 1 briefly, but not same bird I saw yesterday, since it was more typical with a clearly de-marked breast band, whilst the previous bird was much more diffuse and it had distinct cap and pale supercilium.
Little stint, 2
Dunlin, 90
Ringed plover, 170
Sanderling, 8
Grey plover, 5

Over sea:
Gannet, 70+ close in and mainly sub adults, but no overall movement
Common scoter, 77 >N in 2 flocks,
Shelduck, 8
Pink-footed goose, 20>S
Guillemot, 1
Red-throated diver, 1

Regards,
Cliff
