Post subject:  Donna Nook, 16th-17th September.

Quiet in the seemingly unending westerly airflow. On 16th, between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall, the best birds were 400 Swallows, 190 Meadow Pipits, 4 Yellow Wagtails, one Grey Wagtail, one Common Buzzard, 86 Curlews, 2 Greenshanks, 51 Gannets, 2 Red-throated Divers and 8 Pink-footed Geese.

Today, at the south end, the only birds of note were 180 Swallows, 3 Wheatears, 5 Kestrels, one Hobby, 300 Golden Plovers, 39 Curlews and 18 Gannets.
