Post subject:  RSPB Freiston Shore to Cut End...

Highlights:

Hen Harrier - female giving waders the frights over the low-tide mud
Little Egret - at least 20 or so on pools on Freiston wetland
Common Tern - still a few hanging around Witham Mouth in non-breeding plumage
Shearwater - species over the Wash, possibly Manx on migration somewhere.
Wigeon - first few winter visitors settling in again.

Wash mudflats populated by thousands of waders - Dunlin, Knot, Oystercatcher, Curlew, Redshank, Turnstone and a few Sandpipers
