Not the best of weather for a sea watch, but the target was porpoise, with a v.light W wind, but still quite interesting with good gannet movement:

Gannet, 110>N in 14 groups. All juvs. and all fairly close in and low over water and no fishing.
42>S in 6 groups. These were all adults/sub adults, both much further out and flying high, fishing as they went along.
Sandwhich tern, 13 local to area.
Red-throated diver, 2 adults in summer plumaage and 1 juv. on sea, with another bird >S.
Guillemot, 3 on sea, a all juvs., so the adults that were accompanying the juvs. a month ago now seem to have departed.
Arctic skua, 1>N
Cormorant, 1 local to area

Regards
Cliff
