Checked out the Mere and Tennyson's this a.m from first light to 0900

Water Rail on Mere first thing

Little Stint, 2 Spotshank, 2 Pintail and 28 Avocet on Tennyson's. 14 Pinkfeet in adjacent field and 3 Grey Heron.

Peregrine stooping (unsuccessfully) at Wood Pigeons over Croft and a Marsh Harrier hunting same area

Osprey fishing on Cow Bank Drain at 0815

30 Golden Plover, 50 Lapwing, 7 Reed Bunting, 3 Yellow Wagtail and 50 Meadow Pipit went south

At least one Spoonbill still present on Jackson's Marsh

At least 5 Chiffchaff calling from roadside

Hi
Spent a couple of Hours at Gib on the 12th a.m.
Of note were
Spoonbill - 4, Greenshank - 2, Little Grebe - 1, Ruff - 1, Little Egret - 13, Snipe - 2, all on Jackson.
Pink Foot - 8 (Back of Harveys) Spotted Redshank - 2 and Snipe - 2 near to the 28 Avocetts on Tennyson.
