The last of 12 month Humber counts for this sector. Most areas dry, so wader numbers low, other than 180 'resident' oystercatchers, 80+ redshanks and 18 barwits and 13 little egrets

However, it was excellent for a rather early autumn duck passage between 0715 and 0900hrs:
Teal 230+>N in 11 flocks and 21 on sea.
Wigeon 6>N in 2 of teal flocks.
Pintail 2>N in 1 teal flock.
Common scoter 16 on sea.
Red-throated diver 1>
Pink-footed goose 44>S in 3 groups.
Long-tailed skua 1 on sea and chasing sandwich terns.
Bonxie 3 came in together low from NE and flew in over high sands and marsh, picked up thermals, circled very high and then drifted south along coast.

Regards
Cliff
