I watched one pass over my street yesterday that was very low and came from Hoe Hill direction. 11 though is absolute WOW factor.

Geoff,
Is this Hoe Hill on the wolds between Swinhope and Binbrook - it doesn't fit that map reference? If not, where is it near?

Apologies Geoff and thanks, Alan - anyone know if there is a way online to find out the physical location of 6 figure grid references?

Try http://gridreferencefinder.com/ you search for the location and then RIGHT-HAND click on the map to get the NGR.

I use Streetmap http://www.streetmap.co.uk

Just type in the grid ref and zoom the map out to a suitable scale.

For anyone interested, there is permissive access to Hoe Hill, at:
