Walked the beach from Skeg to Gib this a.m.


3 Wheatear on beach

Juv Marsh Harrier south out to sea

Juv Merlin and juv Peregrine over beach

2 Kestrel north end

2 Little Tern south and 1 Arctic Tern north

Guillemot on a very quiet sea. Only 2 Arctic Skua (both pp adults) seen with single Common Scoter north!!

Good numbers of usual waders around Greenshank's. 14000 Knot, 300 Grey Plover, 200 Dunlin, 1200 Sanderling and 40 Ringed Plover. Didnt see a single Redshank or Curlew! Whimbrel over and 24 Turnstone together.


Little vismig today, just a few hirundine south
