Pectoral Sandpiper, 1 north high over tide edge this evening before turning westwards inland at about Churchill. Identified only on call coming from south and pick up in silhouette only. Anyone who has walked miles over Alaskan tundra in summer will have had this flight call drummed into their heads never to be forgotten. regards Cliff |
